A very small group of students and community folks are starting a volunteer organization to develop the MacDaniels Nut Grove, a demonstration forest farm located behind the Cornell Orchards. MacDaniels Nut Grove is part of Agroecology Learning Center that includes the Dilmun Hill Student Organic Farm.

We're excited to begin organizing and welcoming members to workshops, informal seminars, and hands-on work sessions. Friends of MNG will meet from February through November. We will host one activity on the third Saturday of each month at either MNG or other interesting agroforestry sites.

For the even more ambitious, all members are welcomed to attend planning meetings to organize ourselves. We have no membership dues. We're just a group of budding forest farmers eager to learn all there is to know about temperate agroforestry.
