Extension and outreach
My extension and outreach duties focus on assisting the public and private sectors with the most appropriate methods to manage weedy and invasive plants in horticultural landscapes. We are developing a web-based program that allows users to identify weeds and invasive plants, and then select weed control methods based on their preferences for conventional versus organic management. Workshops, demonstrations, and certification presentations also assist in extending research results generated from university, industry, and government partners across New York State.
