This series of free berry webinars (internet seminars), funded by the Northeastern IPM Center, is designed to provide interdisciplinary education in pest management to
northeastern US berry crop growers.
Small fruit production and pest issues addressed in this series are those posing the greatest challenge to northeastern
growers, and those issues that have been the focus of recent research projects.
Topics will be presented by regional experts who will also address ongoing research efforts.
Another objective of this project is to explore the utility of webinar technology. Will interactive, “real-time” web seminars be accepted by growers as a
valuable and effective approach to grower education?
If so, continued use of this technology will allow agricultural researchers and extension faculty greater ability to utilize
diminishing extension budgets.
Your feedback after participating in one or more of the webinars will help us answer this question.
Please join us on line from your home or farm business computer.
Unable to join us for one of the webinars? Consider viewing the webinar at a group session site with other berry growers. Check the program listing for possible sites near you.
All programs of the series will also be archived as webcasts for later viewing at your convenience.
