Wilting Whole Plants - Young Plants (select one)

 

Outer leaves die first. Previous crop may have been potatoes or other solanaceous crop. Symptoms are most pronounced in the planting year.

New plantings suddenly collapse and die in a sporadic fashion, even though moisture is adequate.

Roots are stubby and chewed. Fat, white insect larvae are found in the soil near the roots.

New plants exhibit poor and uneven growth. Crowns are brown on the interior.

New plants exhibit poor growth. Leaves were elongated and yellow or white prior to planting.
