Leaf curling can be caused by many factors: viruses, aphids, psyllids, leafhoppers, leaf rollers, and herbicide drift. Leafhoppers and herbicide drift (and some viruses) also will affect leaf color as well.
Mosaic virus and leaf curl virus are common causes. Usually the crinkling is accompanied with yellowing.
Raspberry aphids transmit several viruses to raspberries. But they also can cause the petioles of leaves to twist and curl when they feed on them.
Blackberry psyllid, a small insect, causes severe curling on both thornless and thorny blackberries.
Leafhoppers cause the upper leaves of primocanes to curl up, develop a yellowish cast, and reduce their growth.
Leaf rollers affect raspberries as well as strawberries and blueberries.
