Each season, companies sponsor beds in our annual research trials. If you would like to be one of them or schedule a visit to view the trials, please contact Melissa Kitchen at mjb239@cornell.edu.

Here are some of the basics:

Location. We are located in the New York's Finger Lakes region, in Ithaca, NY. It is USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 5a-b. Our gardens feature: full sun exposure, automatic irrigation and a 8-foot tall fence to eliminate deer pressure.

Details. We "rent" space on a per bed basis, as opposed to a per cultivar basis. We offer both small beds that acommodate 15-20 varieties and large beds that acommodate 25-30 varieties. See our detailed layout for bed measurements and orientation. Plants are grouped in an aesthetic garden-style layout, using ten or more individual plants as replicates.
